Synthetic roofing membranes

Lightweight roofs for industrial and commercial buildings are generally waterproofed using synthetic roofing membranes. As with bitumen waterproofing, the quality of the system used is of paramount importance.

Bauder THERMOPLAN-T is an absolutely first-class modern FPO waterproofing system, and is far superior to PVC roofing membranes. It sets the standard in respect of reliability, ease of installation and durability, and has been used with excellent results for many years. These waterproofing membranes are available in several thicknesses to reliably meet different requirements. A wide range of accessories for this system make it easy to install and permit complete custom solutions.

BauderTHERMOPLAN-T waterproofing systems are suitable for all lightweight roof substructures, and can be used in new build, refurbishment and roof planting projects. The membranes are bitumen-tolerant and root resistant in accordance with FLL guidelines. These high-quality FPO membranes are resistant to the effects of UV, weathering and ageing. They protect roof either as a top waterproofing layer or with ballast - such as gravel, paving slabs or planting.

BauderTHERMOPLAN-T contains no volatile plasticisers and is emission-free. The membranes are loose laid as a single layer and the seams are hot-air welded (no smoke, no smell). Protection from wind uplift is achieved quickly and reliably by means of mechanical fastening or ballast.

After decades of waterproofing service, these roofing membranes can be recycled or incinerated leaving no waste residue.
