Waterproofing of lightweight roofs for industrial and commercial buildings often entails only basic to moderately stringent requirements. For these applications, Bauder can supply versatile PVC-P-based system solutions. Single-layer waterproofing with Bauder THERMOFOL meets all current standard specifications and can be reliably installed in both new build and refurbishment projects.

The durable PVC-P membranes are loose laid as a single layer, and the seams are either hot-air welded or solvent-bonded, according to preference. Protection from wind uplift is achieved quickly and reliably by means of mechanical fastening or ballast. When these membranes are installed on certain insulating materials (e.g. EPS) and underneath gravel, a separating and protective layer is required.
