What are polymer bitumen membranes?Polymer bitumen membranes are bitumen membranes with reinforcements and polymer bitumen coats on both sides. There are two different types of polymer bitumen: elastomer bitumen PYE and plastomer bitumen PYP.
Elastomer bitumen membranes consist of distillation bitumen modified with elastomers such as SBS (styrene-butadiene styrene).
Plastomer bitumen membranes consist of distillation bitumen modified with plastomers such as APP (atactic polypropylene).
