Metal roof separation layer

Metal roofs and facades are demanding both technically and in design terms. The vapour barrier below the metal roofing, in particular, poses a considerable challenge. BauderTOP VENT NSK is a self-adhesive lap, breathable metal separation layer, and it offers optimal reliability from the outset. The unique feature of this membrane is its compensating and drainage layer, around 8 mm deep, which rapidly and reliably removes moisture from between the metal roof and the separating layer. This protects the metal underside from long-term exposure to damp conditions, and thus considerably increases the service life of the roof. BauderTOP_VENT_NSK is reliable from the moment it is installed. And the self-adhesive longitudinal seams are sealed weather-tight immediately after installation. In this way the timber substructure remains protected until the roof cladding is installed.

Structured separating layer

Unlike separating layers with no spacers, structured separating layers with an integrated drainage layer - a synthetic fabric spun on directly - offer numerous advantages for metal roofs. The integrated drainage layer prevents any build-up of moisture on the underside of the metal; it is approx.
8 mm in height, allowing continuous back ventilation, and thus provides excellent protection against corrosion. At the same time the metal roofing lies softly cushioned on the supple fabric. In this way annoying drumming noise from rain or hail is considerably reduced. Sound tests demonstrated a reduction in sound level of up to 8 db (A)*.
